Dr. Quintin B. Bullock

Quintin B. BullockDr. Quintin B. Bullock is the ninth president of the Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC), a multi-campus institution serving approximately 30,000 credit and noncredit students. A consummate professional, experienced educator, effective community leader, and empathetic mentor, he is a positive role model for students and aspiring leaders. He has an extensive, diverse professional background in higher education and a proven track record as a results-oriented and forward-thinking professional. Celebrating a decade of stewardship as president of CCAC, the college continues to recognize him for his exemplary leadership and powerful advocacy for the students and communities he serves.

An influential voice in the western Pennsylvania region, Dr. Bullock has served as president of CCAC since 2014. Previously, he was president of Schenectady County Community College in Schenectady, New York, provost at Tidewater Community College in Norfolk, Virginia, and executive dean of Monroe Community College’s Damon City Campus in Rochester, New York.

During his tenure at CCAC, Dr. Bullock has overseen the planning and development of two five-year strategic plans and led several significant capital projects, including the construction of the new Center for Education, Innovation & Training at CCAC and the renovation of historical West Hall and Chalfant Hall; launched new academic, career and workforce training programs; secured several million dollars in state, federal and private grants; and co-spearheaded the college’s most extensive campaign to date, totaling over $90 million.

Dr. Bullock’s community and professional affiliations are many, and he has received numerous awards and honors.

He earned a Bachelor of Science and Master of Education from Prairie View A&M University, a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Health Science Center: Dental Branch, and completed postdoctoral studies at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. His leadership training includes the League of Innovation in the Community College Executive Leadership Institute, the American Association for Community Colleges Future Leaders Program, the Thomas Lakin Institute for Mentored Leadership, The Cornell University Executive Leadership Conference, the Wharton/IRHE Program in Higher Education, and the Harvard Seminar for New Presidents.
