Chancellor Search Overview

This summer, Chancellor Dan Greenstein announced that he would complete his service to the system in October. As such, we have launched a national search for our next system chancellor — a process that will seek input from students, faculty, staff, alumni, and other friends to help guide our search.

We thank Dan for his dedication and leadership over the past six years. PASSHE is on a solid upward trajectory that will make searching for our next chancellor a great experience. We are experiencing:

In accordance with the Board’s policy for conducting chancellor searches, the search committee has been formed consisting of the Executive Committee of the Board plus a student, a faculty member, and a university president. That composition served us well in our last search in 2017 — providing a wide range of perspectives to guide this process — and will do so again this time around.

I encourage you to monitor this site to stay informed about the search process and ways that you can provide input as we search for PASSHE’s sixth chancellor.

Sincerely,

Dr. Cindy Shapira
