The State System group health program offers the following options for health care coverage to employees, who meet eligibility requirements. Employees may view the Summary of Benefits for information on all of the benefits offered to State System employees.
Medical
Upon enrollment of a medical plan, you are automatically enrolled in prescription and hearing coverage.
PPO HMO Prescription HearingEnrolling Your Dependents
If you plan to enroll a spouse in your health coverage you must complete an Employer Information Form and Attestation Form within 60 days. When you experience a life event, also known as a qualifying status change, you have 60 days from the date of the event to make changes to your benefits.
Wellness Rewards -Healthy U
Healthy U is the workplace wellness program designed to provide employees with voluntary tools and resources to assist in improving and maintaining good health. Completion of the program entitles employees to lower health plan contribution rates.
Dental and Vision

Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act
The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) - also known as Health Care Reform - requires that employer plans provide a uniform Summary of Benefits Coverage (SBC) for all group health plans which are subject to this reporting requirement.
