Harrisburg – Negotiators for Pennsylvania’s State System of Higher Education and the State College and University Professional Association (SCUPA) announced today they have reached tentative agreement on a new three-year contract, which would take effect upon ratification.
SCUPA represents about 700 professional employees at the 14 State System universities.
They provide a variety of student services, working in admissions, financial aid,
residence life and career services and in the registrars’ offices.
The tentative agreement will be submitted first to the SCUPA membership for its consideration. If ratified by the union, it then would go to the State System’s Board of Governors for final approval. The proposed contract would run through June 30, 2019.
