The State System AOD (Alcohol and Other Drugs) Coalition provides leadership to our universities to support evidence-informed initiatives that promote the quality of student life and success by implementing comprehensive strategies to reduce substance abuse and promote healthy choices.
Strategic Goals
The strategic goals of the AOD Coalition are to:
- Create awareness and involvement regarding relevant AOD issues for all members of the State System
- Ensure AOD program excellence and relevance
- Promote collaboration
- Enable more students to be exposed to prevention programs that prepare them for life, career, and the responsibilities of citizenship.
- Enable more students who could benefit from recovery support to be offered programs that enable them to successfully reach their academic goals and prepare them for life, career, and the responsibilities of citizenship.
