Operational and Centralized Reporting
Centralized, operational reporting services have been provided to the universities
and system for over a decade and continue to evolve to support the business operations
at large. These reporting solutions support the State System with tools for decision
making and day-to-day analytics in the areas of human resources, accounting, budget,
procurement, and academic instructional costs. Numerous applications provide centralized,
automated processing on behalf of all universities with regard to university operations,
including year-end accounting, financial statements and personnel budgeting; personnel
complements, compensation and liability projections, as well as labor contract compensation
modeling; return on investment analysis on the intersection of university financial
operations and academic offerings; financial sustainability, risk and performance
monitoring. These technologies are administered and supported centrally to service
the operational data requirements across the entire enterprise.
These standard reports help universities manage operations more efficiently. Some examples of operational reports include the following:
- Financial Operations: Budget, Accounting, Accounts Payable, Travel Management, Assets
- Procurement: Contracts, Purchasing and Materials/Inventory Management
- Human Capital Management: Personnel Administration, Payroll, Benefits, Labor Relations
- Position Budget Management: Personnel Budget, Expense, Forecasting, and Complement Management
- Functional and Instructional Costs: Profit and loss analysis on the intersection of revenues, expenditures and academic offerings
- Financial Performance and Risk Monitoring: Financial Sustainability and Financial Risk Assessment
- Centralized Cost Projections and Analysis: Labor Negotiations, Projected Personnel Liabilities
- Student Information: Tracking efficiency metrics regarding Student Enrollment and Student to Faculty Ratios
As part of this service, the team also provides centralized reporting on behalf of
universities for national, state and federal reporting submissions. This service includes

submissions.
