Alan D. Graham III, Business Administration, Computer and Information Science
Alan D. Graham III, a junior at Cheyney University, dreams of starting his own business. Like
many PASSHE university students, he was born into a low-income household and is the
first person in his family to attend college.
Graham embraces challenges as opportunities for growth. He is a member of Cheyney
University Honors Academy and a Keystone Scholarship recipient. He is also benefiting
from a dual enrollment program that allows students to take courses at Cheyney University
and West Chester University, both of which are PASSHE institutions.
The Philadelphia native is majoring in computer and information science and business
administration, two career fields that are in high demand by employers in Pennsylvania.
After graduation, Graham may take a year to focus on business development and then
pursue a master’s in business administration (MBA) and public administration (MPA).
Graham says life doesn’t always unfold according to plan, but the key to success is
staying focused amid distractions and remaining committed to your goals.
